Subaru Impreza (2000)

Project Details

This is my second car project, the car that I own, the Subaru Impreza from the year 2000.

It took about 10 hours to finish the model with Autodesk Maya using car blueprints and created hand painted textures for it to and used a physical sun & sky scene to render it with Mentalray.

Than I thought it would be nice to place it in an environment, so I exported it from Maya as an object and imported it into Vue Xstream to create this environment which looks like Italy.

Used Software:
Autodesk Maya, Photoshop, Mentalray, Vue Xstream

Used Autodesk Maya Techniques:
UV Mapping, Texturing, Vertex, Face and Edge mode modeling, extruding, edgeloops, CV curve tool, mirror geometry, smooth mesh.

Used Renderer:
Mentalray, physical Sun & Sky

Used Vue Xstream Techniques:
Procedural terrain.
Render with a direct Sun light.
